3 Days Desert Tour from Fes

Pick up from your hotel/Riad in Fes at 07:30 am for a rewarding 3 days desert tour from Fes. Our first stop will be in the charming town of Ifran, which is a ski resort that is often called the Switzerland version city of Morocco thanks to its architecture & beauty.

Make another pause at the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas Mountains that hosts a colony of the endangered "Barbary Macaques". After lunch, we will continue our Fes desert trip to the Merzouga desert crossing the Ziz Valley.

You will leave the car for the camel trek journey across the soft and golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive in the luxury desert camp for a delicious meal before culminating the night with a relaxing sleep in your private ensuite tent.

Early wake up in the morning to attend the majestic view of the sunrise. After breakfast, our 3 days desert tour from Fes will allow you to explore the desert area including the traditional techniques of irrigation known as "Khettaras", and the Khamlia Village to enjoy the Gnawa Music.

After breakfast, we will head to Fes passing by the imperial city of Meknes, which was founded by Sultan Moulay Ismail and turned into the "Versailles of Morocco" in the 17th century.

Visit the landmarks of the city including the Granaries & stables where the Sultan used to look after his 12000 horses. Take pictures of the impressive Bab Mansour and stretch your legs in the nearby El-Hedim Square before continuing on the track to the Roman Ruins of Volubilis.

After having a guided tour around this archaeological site learning about the Roman Civilisation that settled in the north of Africa. We will drive to Fes to drop you off in the location of your choice marking the end of our 3 days desert tour from Fes.
